site says it was released Feb 28th 05. I haven't seen any info about it here.

Conversion is about $387. With shipping factored in, it should cost about the same as a regular V-limited. If that truely is an exact (or pretty close) replica of the V-limited lip, I'd be extremely interested.

Ravspec has one that is similar that they are running a GB on right now for 300 shipped.

Yea...I've seen a few pics of it, it's a pretty damn good deal. But, IIRC the Ravspec one isn't an exact replica of the V-limited, and the front is shaped differently. Also, I've heard a few people have had some fitment problems with the Ravspec lips. But hopefully Ravspec can get that sorted out by the 3rd or 4th shipments. I think I'm going to wait a few months to see what happens before purchasing anything.

It is a little different. A bit more rounded than the original. I am on the third shipment so hopefully it gets sorted out by then.

i'm on the list for the 3rd shipment for the RavSpec CF lip. But as you statedm ans as I saw in the pics, it is not an exact copy of the Vlimited lip. I have the JDM V-limited on my car now and really wan tto keep the exact proportions of the lip. I'm gonna look into the CF Chargespeed version, it looks to be a better match for an exact replica, and Chargespeeds a very reputable company. ...we'll see soon enough i'm sure.

i just got gruppe-s' c/f replica v-lim lip and it doesnt fit worth s**t. i would return it but i already took a dremel to parts of it, now i have a 270 piece of poop in my garage :(

You also gotta remeber, that the 42,000 yen prob doesnt include shipping. SHipping from Japan can be some serious $. I loved the lip CF from Japanparts.com, but got on the Group Buy with Ravspec instead.

I talked to Versus Motorsport earlier today, they said they do not have a price yet, theyare waiting for "some" samples to arrive within the next 4-6 weeks for "test fiment". I stated there was a good demand for them, and would gladly offer myself as a "test fit" vehicle. :lol: Seems like it may be still a ways away. I'm still down for it.

Ahh... this is exactly what I've been looking for.
Ravspec's and Gruppe-S replicas lose the look of the original V-Limited. Keep us updated on any info you find out.

I actually like the lines on Ravspecs better. The curviness (sp?) matches the lines better on the car. Then again I am biased because I am on second shipment.

I have the real V-lip.When i installed the V-lip i notice that my front end was kinda heavy/solid feel (80miles) w/o the lip the front end feels like its floating on high speed.I drive to work 78 miles(Tememcula to san diego) 1 way every day my average speed is 80-90 miles.
The downside of having the Real V-lip(ABS) is its so thin & super flexible i can compare it to a jack in the box large soda cup.In picture you just can't tell that its super thin.I'm just glad that i only pay $375 for my real v-lip :D
