Defi Meter in Red ??

Just wonder hv anyone here try to change the Black Face Defi meter to red colour juts like the optitron meter????
anyone can help???
look my car almost all interior is in red left the BF meter
as i know defi had new bf meter in red later not on sales yet

Your foglights, levelling switches and clock are still green ... I would also believe your window buttons are also green too ... thats one of the most difficult to change - I hate soldering.

My foglights, IC Spray manal and Auto switches all is already change to red only left the BF meter.....:confused:

I have explained to several guys on the forums before. I didn't do this myself. A shop in Singapore did it for me. I found that out before I was returning back there for my holidays and I pulled my Defis out to get them to do them.

i was trying to convert them awhile back in the end i kinda gave up. ive spoken to jin at length on this matter, even got my mate to go to espace where he got it done. but apparently they dont convert them anymore and the guy that was doin them was overseas. :(

lets see pics of the gauges next to an sti cluster. i would like to see how they match. i believe the sti cluster uses OLED's (organic)...
also can you post info on what you used for led's, where you purchased them and how you did the conversion.

Yup, it is still really really bright. In fact, its the same brightness as the STI Speed Cluster at its highest settings. If you can see how bright the STI Speed Cluster is during the day, thats hot bright my gauges are too.

I've got 4 BF's in my car, and with the red backlit becoming available shortly it's going to kill me to have my Defi's not match my stock cluster, but I don't want to take the hit to sell my white backlit and buy new gauges. I recall a link at a S2000 forum w/instructions.....
Does anyone know of any others, or have that S2000 link? I'm moving my controller this weekend and would like to knock out the gauges at the same time. Approx. how long will this take me (for those that have done it) and what would you rate it on a difficulty scale (1-10).

You can also change your defi control red too with the same method. I notice its still white.

not that simply as u think. 1st think of how to open the gauge, 2rd wat LED to use, 3rd how to put it back.....

SubaruBen - but you're in SINGAPORE man! I'd send them out to you in a heartbeat if you were local, or I had some way of KNOWING they'd come back to me. Not insulting you by any means, but I don't know ya.....and what could potentially stop you from just keeping whatever Defi's were shipped to you along w/the $?
I'd need some sort of guarantee they'd come back, as they're just too expensive.....and don't see how a guarantee is even remotely possible to be honest. :( This has been plaguing me since we were exchanging PM's. I'd feel like a fool if I lost my gauges just because I want them to match my stock cluster.......but knowing they could be red and aren't is aggravating me too...... :mad:

how did you guys covert all the lights (radio, buttons etc) to red... please help I really want to do this and I hate the green colour ... *sorry for n00bish question*
