How would you ike a SIMILAR ( Mind you it means NOT SAME) wing for Impreza? I think it would look totally dope!

I'm suprised anyone knew what that car is . I have been here and there following what Cosworth does with escorts. Amazing compared to the joke they are here in the States.
If anyone reads this and owns an escort they are proud of let me just say one sentence to explain your car. Commuter car with good gas mileage. Nothing more nothing less. Trust me I used to own one. I also new a guy who dropped a 302 into one. Fast? Yes. But it was an Escort.

This car looks great in person, had a friend in Pairs France that had a Escort Cosworth. It is a great drive was a great WRC and the wing didn't look out of place at all. It also had the power so all you would see was the wing as it blew bye. It also has a very wide stance. But to each his own, some say the impreza stock wing to much? personally I think the Cosworth is an amazing car, but over here everyone thinks of the Escort as nothing. there were many different models of this car in Europe incl. a convertable and various types of motors and stuff like that just to inform all of you.
And yes that wing would look absolutely ridiculous.

Come on you guys... That spoiler is not for looks. People don't build rally cars to look good. One of my favorite rally cars is the MG Metro 6R4 and they are butt ugly. I would still love to own one though. Try to get past the looks of a car....

They don't make rally cars to look good?? Then why are they all shined up before the race?? Why do people drool over them and try and make their cars just like them. Racing is a showroom for auto buyers. Do you really think auto manufacturers would dump insane amounts of money into racing if it didn't pay off in the showroom?? Of course they make rally cars look good.

Most people don't even know what a rally car is let alone want to buy one here in America. The escort cossie was and still is a badass car that most people (in the US at least) have never heard of. I like the wing and it works on that car. I don't know about on an impreza, but maybe. Someone should photoshop it and then those who don't like it can talk all the ***** they want, until then it's a sick car.

The general public (stupid) doesn't know anything about rally cars(good thing). If they did there would be as many rally car look alikes on the street as there a SUVs.

Rally cars aren't inherently good looking. They look good to us because of what we associate them with. Case in point: the Cossie. In this topic we have heard from people who think the Cossie looks horrible. I think its beautiful because I associate it with rallying and speed

You just proved my point, it looks good because of what you associate it with. It "looks good", and it is a rally car. Not everyone thinks it looks good but if you get enought people thinking it looks good they will go buy it.
