fun de-badging idea!!

i thought about a cool thing today. de-badge the stock "S U B A R U" and re-badge "S U B I E". only problem is i need "I E" the "S U B" can be reused. anyone know of where to get the last 2 letters?
| boost junkie | 04-27-2005 07:13 PM |
you could get the jdm impreza badge, it looks just like the subaru lettering but it says impreza. its pricey though, around $80 I think. that would give you an I and an E though.

$80 for some plastic letters? this would work but i dont want it THAT bad.

Or if your rex was yellow you could debadge it and then rebadge it "B U S"

Someone at work has an Accord rebadged as "LORD". Not like, "this car runs on a very low suspension setup", but like, "the big guy I pray to."
I don't think I have to tell you how cool his car is.

Cut and trim the A, you'll have two I.
Insert one I into U and rotate 90 degree you will have a E.

I really hate the ugly chrome keyhole. I was thinking of moving the WRX to the other side of the trunk to make it read WORX. Where the O is the keyhole.

$80? Sounds like a steal. Try buying new stickers for a set of repaired RAYS wheels. :furious:

What did it cost to get is shaved and repainted? That is ideally what I want to do. I figure it would cost more than I'm willing to pay at this point. Maybe after I get new wheels, Cobb stage 1, STI sideskirts, etc.etc.etc.

Also, my car is Aspen White so it's a bit harder to match.

thanks for the info. That is actually cheaper than I was expecting. I might do the bodywork myself and have someone paint it.

Bursa:
*A closed fluid-filled sac that functions to provide a gliding surface to reduce friction between tissues of the body. Bursa is the Greek word for "a wine skin."
My own interpretation is " a smooth secret hideout " :)
*A Turkish city
