Gauging interest for Prova Eifel front lip GB (98-01RS)
My opinion of the best looking lip for the GC8. Not only has the entire kit been wind tunnel tested, but it looks shockingly nice. Personally I've been looking for the lip at a reasonable price for quite some time. Best price I could find is Aprx. $500 before shipping from vividracing.
So i've talked to a company and they are willing to do a GB for the front lips if there is enough interest. They are replicas and will be made of hand laid fiber glass. The cost is dependent on how many people we get, but it will definetely be under $200 b4 shipping.

2) In order to get the group buy price there must be 10 lips or more purchased.
If 5-9 lips are purchased, the price is [b][color="red"]$170[/color][/b].
If 10+ lips are purchased, the price is [b][color="red"]$120[/color][/b]!!!!
[b]Those prices are of course without shipping.[/b]
There is no difference in the shipping charge for the company if they ship 5 pieces or 15 pieces, the more ppl in a GB, the cheaper the shipping! (These will be coming from HK)

Well they have the fiberglass ones in stock already so i don't think they can do that...but i'll ask neways ;)

Here check out this thread, there's a RS with OEM sideskirts, V5/V6 spats, aero mudguards and the prova lip...

...personally i was gonna ask H2 if I could buy some replica prova sideskirts too...but using cwest sideskirts are my backup plan =)...followed with just painted my stock skirts. It's $120 btw, not $110 (i wish :p)

my take on the syms side skirt is .... well.... better than stock but no where near as nice as the prova.
just my opinion.
I have $180 waiting to leave my bank asap.

I am interested as well, but I wonder how good the quality it is.
I understand that it is always "I get what I pay for", but how is the fitment and does installation of this lip will bring us trouble?
Is the shipping fee for Canada gonna be the same?

Yeah, i wasn't gonna get the SYMs skirts, i was just asking if you guys wanted them. My take is that they look plain from the look of the pics(but some may like tha clean look). If there is enough interest we could do the SYMs rear bumper up in here too...but we would need like 10 and I find that unlikely to happen.
About the quality, I don't work for these people and I have never seen their replica lip before, so I'm as clueless as you guys. However, the company has assured me that there will be a good fitment...aprx. 97%. It IS a replica, and it IS rather inexpensive, so I'm not expecting an exact perfect copy. They promised me pictures of the actual lip soon...

Turns out H2 Motorsports doesn't have time to set up a group buy so they put it on me now to run it ....since I'm probably just going to do one GB it isn't really an option for me to apply for i-club vendor status because of the price of that. So...I'm going to have to start the GB on RS25.com..
I have nothing but love for I-club so trust me, i'll emphasize how beneficial it would be for them to join the i-club vendor ranks. I really don't want to piss I-club :(, I just want my lip. If this GB goes smoothly I'm sure they will be much more encouraged to become a vendor here.
