Help me style my bug eye!!

Hi everyone,
Just need a few opinions and ideas for my car.
This is what it looks like at the moment, with its Subaru factory front and rear bumper extensions, and side skirts, plus the Work VS-XX 18" wheels.

I am thinking of painting the rims black with the polished lip.
Here is a quick photoshop.

My further plan is to fit a carbon fibre vented bonnet, bootlid, and STi headlights, as well as black mesh foglight covers, or blue STi ones (whichever look better).
i also want to tint the windows very dark, to match the whole black and blue theme.
What does everyone think? If anyone wants to photoshop any of this stuff, feel free ;)

i like. Do you have a link or know somewhere i could buy those side skirts?? i know they only came on aussie wrx's... and get projectors too.

you car looks great the way it is. sometimes slapping a color here or there kills teh focus on the eyes. that is why clean jdm cars look so nice.

I say keep the wheels the way they are, but get yourself an STi grille or Liberal grille and some JDM/EDM headlights.
Maybe a Spec C roof vent? :devil:

jdm headlights and the solid sti fog covers would look great on your car, i also have the mesh sti fog covers but the solids look the best.

jesus don't paint your wheels.
also, try getting jdm "eyes" for your car. they make the car look a million times better.

JDM projectors (or Prodrive UK300's) and solid STI foglight covers, STI grille. Not a big fan of the CF "bonnet". Wheels look good either way.

I would get the reverse cowl carbon fiber hood. I can't think of the name, Kalamari or something. I think that would look hot.
I dunno on a blue car though, silver I would be for sure since you have the FMIC.
btw though, your car looks really good at the moment though.

dont do black w/ polish lip...its been done so many times and i havent seen too many w/ gold and polish lip..why not work on the rest..like a new lip..and as for headlights..i have jdm hid lights fs...search for my car for pics and pm me for details..gluck w/ the car

EDM headlights and please keep the wheels the way they are. they look sick right now. maybe a new front lip and a kmanari hood painted wrb :)

edms, spec c roofscoop, and tint the clear blinkers ( not the side markers, the ones closest to the headlights) car looks awesome though. nice work

Its amazing how many different opinions there are on what the car should look like...its made my decision even harder :D

The suspension was just a set of cheap D2 Coilovers I borrowed off a friend, but I've removed them and returned to ordinary lowered springs. I'm going to be fitting a set of coilovers very soon, before I do any body mods, to get it back to that same ride height again. As you can see, its damn low in the photos!
Thats the thing, I'm not too sure on what to do....black has been done, but so has gold. CF has been done, and I'm not sure if it'll look good with my wheels. I'm definitely not touching the polished lip on the rims, thats one of my favourite aspects of those wheels ;)
Maybe I should just suck it and see....start with the black rims and tints, and go from there ;)

I agree.. keep the rims as they are...

I dig the skirts, I have the same set on mine. You can find them if you search for "EGR" if anyone is wondering. I went GM with polished lip for my wheels. I dig the mesh fog covers... unlesss you go FMIC and you want to hide the pipes) The JDM or Liberal style grille is nice! I have the JDM on but it's unpainted(black) at the moment, but I have a C/F scoop, and black mech fog covers, so It's an interesting contrast. as in... I've never seen it done before....lol Some thinks its cool.. others are like... WTF kind of car is that... oh well.
