2. What class do you rally in?
I run MU2 in the rally-x, aiming for G2. It would take too much effort to make it production legal, plus I like the extra power :devil:
3. How long have you been rallying?
rally-x for 2 years
4. How long have you been into rally?
found out about it in 1996, watched first WRC event in 1997
5. Driver or codriver?
Mad rowin' skillz ;) My fiancee wants to codrive (she co-drove at a local rallysprint), but I would feel too responsible for her safety. Hopefully my brother will co-drive because we work really well together in competitive situations....
I'm doing a slow buildup, amassing parts when I have $$. I got the suspension, some wheels/tires, seats, etc.. The car was coming along OK until we wasted the LSD tranny at the rally-x 3 weeks ago. Having a bunch of problems with the Moriss Dampers suspension which I am still resolving. At the rate I'm going we will be lucky to have the car caged and stage ready by late 2003...

2. class is 4UST I believe, have only done a few rally crosses and that was my class at those.
3. I have done 2 rally crosses in the last 4 months
4. I have been interested for almost a year
5. driver so far but want to learn both
I hope to build up both my skills as a driver and my car over the next 5 years starting with rally crosses and as much training as I can get. My plans for the car are to slowly build it up to a group N ready monster

1986 Audi 4000 Quattro w/ 5000 turbo (ridden in several other cars, this is now my "permanent" ride--for now)

Currently mechanic on a GroupA Escort Cosworth for a leading british club level team. Have owned and run my own cars in the past.

BTRDA, British national championship plus the ocasional Club events. Navigated on 3 TSD's in the USA/Canada also.

Became very active in 1986 as a marshal, drove in my first rally in 1989. Won our first national championship in 1995. Won many events as a team, the most recent being the Bulldog Clubmans rally 3 weeks ago, used by many as shakedown for the NetworkQ Rally GB.

I cant remember ever not being interested in the sport, i became a major follower from 1982 onwards when i stopped flying (age 16).

Nope, that's Jon Groo in a mid-80's 900 from down CT way. I've got a blue 99 with the yellow/blue nike stripe down each side. Were you up at Berlin? Are you going to Maine Winter?

Our Shop owns two rally cars.
#1 1998 WRX STI, races in open class, an absolute beast
#2 2002 wrx, races in production GT, car is a tank, takes the hits

I am looking at starting a rally car this winter/spring and have it ready to do something by fall.
Just doing it with spare money here and there.

2. Production, Took first in class at LSPR (beat Troy Lee in the factory Hyundai.)
3. 2 years as a driver, co-drove back in 1990
4. 20+ years
5. driver, crew chief, banker, p.r. coordinator, chief window cleaner, duct tape technician, body man, tech inspector, co-driver, team manager, team janitor, etc.......
