Do the Spec C rear seats have fold down?
If not, has anyone converted something like that to fit a wagon or Forester?
I'm looking to get a complete black seat set to have something similar to the JDM Forester STi.

The Spec-C rears don't fold down but you could probably pull the skin off the them and recover you rear stockers to get the all around look.

here's my jdm ver.7 with rear fold down.i believe they came off a spec-c.

Are you talking about real fold down seats or the pass through?

It would be nice if they were real fold down so that they go flat. Maybe I'll have to wait around until JDMpartsTX.com has one from a Forester, or maybe kingofimports.com could locate one. And an STi or CrossSport aero kit.

I had some v7 Spec C type RA seats (Prodrive takeoffs ;) ) that did not have a fold down area...

If you have a wagon... The 04 and 05 WRX Wagons had a simple black pattern, if thats what you're going for...

kennyvb, those are not from the spec c. I have those exact seats (front and back) on my car and mine isn't the spec c. Unless you are posting them for different reason...?

i know they are not. they come on a "standard" sti. i was just posting a pic of take-offs from a rally prep. correct me if i'm wrong but the one dElKwOn posted doesn't look like a Version 7 seat which has dark blue pinstriping. some vendors that might have seats:

what are the differences between the spec-c non spec-c?i know that the usdm fronts are wider than the jdm's & the rear usdm's don't have the rear pass through.from what i read when i ordered my seats from rallispec.my seats were from a spec-c , could i be wrong?are mines just jdm'S ?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the blue/black JDM STI front seats were basically the same thing on the V8 and V9 STis and Spec Cs.
CaptainMorgan: I think your original post was pointed at the NEW black/black Spec C seats. You might as well get some 04/05 USDM rear seats and have a local shop recover them in black Alcantara.
JDMPARTSTX has a set and a pic that shows them WITHOUT the pass through. I think the new black fronts have perforated Alcantara while the rears do not. Same basic scheme as my blue V7s.

The V8 STI Spec C uses the same blue seats as the regular STI (with a passthrough). The RA Spec C uses Black alacantra and the rear seat has no passthrough.

Those are the same rear seats as my stock 05 STi. The Canadian market gets the seats with the rear fold down.

so if my seats aren't from a spec-c exactly what subaru are these seats from ? i know that they are rhd cause my fronts have all the seat adjustments on the right hand side.i wanna know so if someone asks me i'll be able to give them the correct answer.

your seats are simply JDM STi seats. the rear pass through comes on the standard STi in japan.
however on the spec C as well as the RA, there is no pass through on the rear seats for that little extra bit of weight savings.

Doesnt one of the Spec C's have a 12l water tank accross the backside of the rear seat? I doubt it would have the pass-through then...

Yes, but the V8 Spec C and V8 STI used the same front blue seats.. basically there was no difference between them. I suspect some folks posted the fronts as Spec C for the $ factor that normally comes with spec c parts. If you want something special and spec c go for the V9 Black RA Spec C seats :)
