Working on a custom fab job for a subee dash, it will include a 3 pod guage setup at the top and flow down to accomodate a HVAC control unit and touch screen for all audio controls.

all really nice work, rice or not.... the only thing that bothered me was the angle of the screen on the 300zx, doesnt look like you would even be able to see it

I definitely would not go as far as to call this rice. To me, it looks like a lot of time went into all of the preparation, and the end result shows quality work. +1!

The only part I'm not impressed with is the orange dash on the 300z. I think you should've went the route that you went with the Camry door panels. Nice and smooth with with no rattle can paint job. That seems like the only short cut you took in all the pics. But who knows, they're just pics. Overall, very nice fiberglass work!

Let me guess, you did that or know who did? Quality doesn't mean it's not rice...period. Lambo doors on a Z, bright orange and lime green, chrome pedals, monitor that faces [B]out the window!, [/B] 4 subs which block your back windshield (granted it may be a show car, but still)...RICE! >>> end of story

Wow havent looked at this in some time. I will say that this 300zx is pretty ricey. This is how it works with these cars: The customer gives us $$ and we give the customer what they want. to answer a few questions:
Yes the paint all matches, probably just the angle that changes the colors, everything was shot at the same time, this prevents discoloration.
Yeah the door cloth doesnt match the interior, but hey it is what the customer wanted, same is that messed up looking dash thing for those 5 1/4s.
Yes it is a show car, dont think you could safely drive that thing around.
Who did the work: Chris Norris owner of CN Sounds in Ft Wayne IN. Currently a 5 time world champion in car audio.
Who the he!! am I? Just a guy who does this kind of stuff as a hobbie and am learning more and perfecting my own work by the day.
Like I said before I dont have to like it but if it is what the customer wants, that is what they are paying for. I just thought I would post some different types of mods for you guys to check out. I will post pics of my dash in my GC when it is done.

Yep Camery, on bags, shaved handles, a couple grand in dynomat, a **** load of sterio equipment, and alot of custom paint.
