I took some electrical tape, and this is what came out of it. I am going to get real ones soon, but for the time being, I guess I will have this. You can't really tell that its tape unless you come up close. Should I lose it or keep it?

seemed to be good work. nothing much can be done with the seams w/ strips of tape.
how about trying some black vinyl? a buddy of mine put some silver on mine and it was a perfect match

It might be o.k. just to check the design, but take it off immediately afterwards.

If you want to do it "on the cheap", get a little bit of vinyl. That'd look pretty good, and probably be easier than the tape strips to begin with.

you can use motorcross numberplate stickers too.....
otherwise just cover the whole light with ductape, bubblegum and some 40wieght with a ballberring, everything is ballberrings these days
