I hesitate making this thread because we already have the other BATRacer thread, but I though it might be necissary for those who were interested but missed out on the F1 season.
Anyways, we have a private A1GP season starting that can fit a massive amount of players (40-50 I believe) and we have plenty of room left!
For those who don't know what BATRacer is, it's a browser-based racing simulator. You get to run through an entire season, adjusting setups and race/qualifying strategy to see who comes out on top. It has alot of depth, and is very fun and addicting.

Yes, join people. I am not starting the season till we hit 30 drivers.....maybe more, depends on how long it takes to fill up.

yeah, it kinda does. Is there any way to test the set up on the car? Is this a RPG or actual racing? Either I am down. Sounds cool.

Practice should not have been that much fun. Took me a few laps to figure out exactly what was going on (then the browser burned three laps, apparently you can't highlight the setting and press backspace and type one in, you have to use the slider), but this is going to be pretty nice.

Use the 'Test' button, which you can only use (for a limited amount of laps) during practice and warmup. Qualifying and the race are automatically simulated, no input from you needed. Practice and warmups are the interactive parts of the game, you first want to adjust your settings based on the 'Engineers advice' it gives you, and then by the 'estimates' you get after running laps. It'll tell you to increase or decrease a setting, and then give you a hi-lo setting that the 'perfect' spot lies in.

Some of the guys at work I talked to would like to set up a season of thier own as well (I thought about asking them on here, but I'm new myself and I didn't think you guys would want to have a bunch of people in this season that aren't forum members). How do you do it? Do you have to pay for the Kool Tools thing or what not?

Yeah, you don't have to pay for the game. But you can buy Kool Tools to help you play easier.

Your friends can join our season. I just want to hit 30. Give them the info and have them join us.

It helps a lot if you have a teammate, which you don't in A1GP. It's also quite nice when the weather changes twice in one weekend.
