Yeah, right!
I wish Michael hit the wall when they showed that he went wide after the pit entrance and almost hit it (he hit it during practice!)
So now Ralph is ahead in points and in second in the championship.
Should have been Ralph's engine! But yes, Montoya did drive his heart out. Maybee if they had taken the leaves out of the radiator pods like in the Ferraris... Who knows!

You know what sucks? In Philly there's a bike race and the local ABC affiliate had that on instead! I didn't see a freaking second of the race.

Sorry to hear you missed the F1 race, but as a cyclist I would have gladly traded you!

Great Drive by Juan!
I was hiking in the mountains today, and just watched the video tape... what a drive by Montoya!
Michael might have been vulnerable at the end, as he mentioned a blistering of his left rear in the press conference...
Kinda weird this season, as before Monaco, BMW.Williams were very reliable, more reliable than Ferrari. But now that Michelin has finally stepped up and provided a competitive tire to Ferrari's Bridgestones, Montoya loses two race motors in a row, and Ralfie's BMW blows up on the cool down lap today...
If the BMW had held together, and JPM had found a way past Michael, Michael would now have a lead of 29 points, instead of the 43 he has now...
I don't see Montoya slowing down... now he sees Michael is beatable.
Nice chop of Michael at the start! That is what he should have done in Brazil, which is why he was so upset afterwards, as he realized too late he should have aggressively defended pole in Brazil.
What was up with Ralfie? He should have been up there harrassing his brother, and Rubens! His car must not have been working at its best... too bad, as it could have been such a different result today.

Nope. Ralfy boy finished out of the points, so he and chili dog are still tied for second with 27 each. That's only 43 behind Michael. Maybe if something tragic should happen to MS, one of them could win. Of course nothing good like that will happen, so get used to the thought of Schuey being declared the greatest F1 driver of all time at the end of the season when he takes his fifth title. Of course we could get lucky and he'll break his leg again, or maybe both this time. Yes, I know I am evil!

After all the pit stops, JPM was catching MS at about a second a lap with about 12 to go and a 7 second defecit. I am certain that he would have caught Schumi, but I am not sure that he could have passed. We would, however, have seen a fantastic battle. I was most disappointed.
I don't know if the TV covered it, but there was an outstanding battle between DC and Rubens for second. DC showed great courage and held Rubens off at the pit chicane with a very bold move.
Possibly the best racing of all was going on between Ralphie and Truli for 6th. Ralphie was on his gearbox for 15 laps, but Truli held him off somehow. It was outstanding.

The TV coverage was not that bad, we got to see alot of the fight between RB and DC, as well as some other good fights and passes (well there was too many comercial brakes and they were too long), in my opinion this was one of the most interesting F1 races recently. It just too bad Montoya did not finish the race, I want to see more racing between Shumi and JPM

That's just not cool hoping somebody wrecks and gets injured. I really don't care who wins, I'm happy for them. I don't have a favorite driver although I was really hoping for Villneuve or Montoya this race. Villneuve needs a better car. Poor guy. I could never criticize MS though, he's a great driver. Not his fault he wins every effin race! :p

It was a good weekend.... but damm. you don't get much butt room in the bronze section..... we had a couple of big fat guys and they must have taken 2 spots!
I bought a Jaguar team hat since I didn't want a ferrari nor a bmw hat! I was hoping to get a Sauber or Renault but no vendors carried their stuff! That's why I settled for the Jag hat.....
The Ferrari Challenge was great..... and got some good pics of #7 spinning out in our corner.....

Yeah, tell me about the butt room. I mean, I got a tiny ass, and I was sitting with my 11 year old cousin, and I was SQUISHED like a sardine! Just like Air Canada's planes......hmmmmmm...
Robin, I didnt see you! I was in section 4, row B. Right at the front. Nice view, cool turn to watch. Although, the only image burned into my mind are those stupid ORANGE sings...you think they advertise that enough? That stupid neon orange font burned my retinas!!
I missed the Ferrari challenges too :(
GOOOOOOOOOOO J-V!!
man, I'm NEVER buying a Honda

Montreal is one of the best cities in North America and its even better on F1 weekend!
The bronze bleachers are very tight, but a small price to pay. There were a lot more ferrari haters this year than last. I don't remember seeing many (if any) people booing ferrari last year, but this year they were all over the place.
Golden Palace, thank you for your women.
I think i'm gonna spring for silver next year. The biggest problem i had was after halfway w/ all the pitstops it was hard trying to tell who was still on the lead lap plus it could be hard trying to differeniate between teammates.
I too was looking for Renault or Sauber hats and ALMOST bought a ferrari but didn't. I went online and there are a couple more but not too many (www.speedgear.com). Most are either too out there or too boring...
Was on st. laurent friday night + crescent saturday night. Went co-karting on saturday afternoon at euro-karting. Much fun.

glad to hear you had a good time! I had trouble following the teamates too, until someone mentioned that they have different colour helmets. go figure!
I just watched the big screen and figured it out from there. What happened to the other Jaguar? I went to walk around maybe 30 laps into the race, and when I came back, I saw it parked near turn 6 (Bronze 33).

Man the Bernivision feed is so beautiful!
I really hope Bernie will over the digital feed to the US next year.
At least ABC has the feed for 4 races this year.
