I would say #2 but the color doesn't really match.
So I picked #1 otherwise, it keeps the "flow" of the hood IMO.
although #4 ain't too bad either.

Paint
I know the color is off on 2, but I'm more interested in the overall look, I would make sure the paint was a perfect match.

###1 FOR SURE.....
I'd leave the black the dull color instead of painting it so it'll match the fog lamps below. Infact I'll be painting mine just like this on Sunday, but with silver. It really makes the Morrettes look bad ass and from a far, the lights are shaped somewhat like an RS (I like the front of the RS much better).

if you put #1 on #2 so I can see what it looks like on a frontal veiw of the whole car. I will cast my vote. It's to hard to get an Idea of how the car would look with just a pic of the headlight.

Actually I think #1 would look best if the small part near the grill was also black, so that it's a solid black line from one side throw the grill to the other side. Just the two section above and below the lights

hmmm.... personally i dont see what the big fuss is over # 1 or 3 or 4 for that matter, i think they are pretty much hideous, #2 on the other hand is off the heezy fo sheezy!

That would look nice. Also gets rid of the black in the fog light surround. Looks good on my car. I think it really depends on what other accessories you are going to add that may either complement/contrast or take away from the look that would determine which way I would go. If you paint the Morettes blue/black in any combination I think you are setting yourself up for carbon accessories like hood scoop, front valence, and wing to continue the look.

Which front lip is that? I thought it looked like the OEM but I didn't think the OEM had the piece that goes across the middle of the front lip? And does anyone have a rear shot of this car? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Oh and I say number 2 or leave them all black and just put a coat of clear on them.

Just voted for #1 but leave the fake vent section on the inside flat black like the rest of the ceter section.
Just got mine this weekend. The car is black so I'm going to have them painted flat black with a matte finish clear coat.

i have to say 2 all the way...
my plans when i get my WRX (in a couple of weeks)...
1) get a pair of Morette's, paint them to match my Sedona Red wagon (exactly like #2)
2) install a Fuba antenna (i really like that on the jetta i'm trying to sell)
3) have the stock antenna removed, filled and painted over.
