They came in today, and yes I'm hardcore enough that I put them in after I got in tonight... nothing like working until midnight in the driveway- it keeps the neighbors off-guard :D!

It looks like a little dust, but it could also be the fabric...mine looked the same way when I got mine from Australia...I cleaned them anyway... ;)

The "dirt" is just the fabric...it's a dimpled blueish fabric and under certain lighting conditions is a bit irridescent.

Thanks all! Yeah, the seats have a kind of "mottled" appearance to the fabric in the pictures, but it is a blue/black kind of fabric... very cool :). They'll get cleaned after the winter when the new carpet goes in. Eugene, you knew it would happen someday :lol:! SubyObsessive,

The next cosmetic mod will be fixing my damn front bumper/corner panel/hood (flying plywood can do a number on the front end) :D. I just put the STi Group N tranny mount in today to complement the Motor Mounts that have been in for 2 months. Vacation gives you alot of time to play car ;). I may get rambuncious and put the SAFC in... this spring, the car goes turbo :D.

Marc, you got it! How's the car? Haven't heard recently... Geek Guy- the seats will fit in a WRX (any of the seats made for the Impreza/WRX/STi will... they all use the same mounting location. Alex (Imprezer) has the Version 6 in his WRX right now.

I know they are beat :)... but winter is coming, and there's no sense replacing them now. The carpet is being replaced with a graphite color, and the new floormats I'm getting (from iSR) will be black, probably bordered in red to match the seats :D. For those asking aboot my ass... I used to hike/backpack alot- done the whole Adirondack Trail and lots of the Appalachian trail here in the Northeast (among other places)... I need to get back to doing that ;).
