Nothing to original, but high quality and real carbon fiber!

Just thought I'd post them since another member inquired about Shift Knobs :D
SoBaLo 07-20-2001 02:56 AM

just my own thought.....................
the pedal look exactly the same as the Razo!!!!
cuz i got a set from Razo.
a u posting the right picture????

Jonathan
GoZigen 07-20-2001 03:12 AM

Like I said nothing original. I believe Razo only comes in Silver/Gold color though, unless they have come out with something new. The knobs are pretty much momo style, and the three pedals (blue, red, gray) are Razo Style ones. Right now in Japan the 5Zigen ones are actually selling much better than the Razo, just because the enthusiast rather have 5Zigen on their pedals than Razo. Not to say Razo is bad, they are one or if not the best interior tuning companies in Japan. Most likely its pretty much 5Zigen fan following that help the sales, especially after winning 1st place in Japans Circuit races this year.
RidinLow 07-20-2001 09:25 AM

Hi Shawn,

Heh, I've always loved the concept of "tuning" your interior. ;)

How much for the stubby Momo lookalike knob?
GoZigen 07-20-2001 10:17 AM

Ridinlow,

Just sent you a PM on special I-Club price

Thanks for your interest! And yes, I love the interior tuning! It's always nice to fix up the outside, but interior has to be just as good
ThinkTank 07-21-2001 04:39 AM

I would not buy anything from autoimaging

They still have not refunded the money they owe me. E-mail me for details.
GoZigen 07-21-2001 03:34 PM

For those that requested photo of the ball knob, here it is!

Sorry not a professional :D

Here is a photo of the Carbon Fiber Pedals From Razo. Also real carbon fiber and probably considered the best Interior After Market products from Japan.

barkall4 07-22-2001 01:23 AM

quick question...

Are these pedals, either brand, a direct replacement, or just a cosmetic cover for the pedals. I would hate to have to worry about them coming off during aggressive driving stunts.

Thanks

p.s.....p.m. me a price on the 5-zigen pedals and the shift knobs, as I think I like them all.
MagicMT 07-22-2001 01:42 AM

My pedals go over the existing ones, dunno about the others. Couldn't get it on my brake though, so I had to take off the rubber first. They're attatched tightly with 4 screws.

Mike
GoZigen 07-22-2001 01:45 AM

Thanks for your interest, and good question. The Razo and the 5Zigen pedals both go over your existing OEM pedals. Although, some have take the rubber off of the OEM pedals and installed the Razo pedals. All tools are included for install. I'll PM you now on the I-Club Discount price.

Thanks again for your interest!
elemental 07-22-2001 02:49 AM

wont that make the pedals closer? they're already kind of close for me, especially when im nice to people in the back seats and have to take the seat forward a little from full back...
MagicMT 07-22-2001 03:02 AM

Yep, they do make them a bit closer. I wouldn't get them if i had big feet.

Mike
GoZigen 07-22-2001 03:18 AM

Yes they will become closer, but that is the reason they were made, for heal & toe driving. The 5Zigen MT pedals are adjustable for heal and toe (gas pedal can be made wider and closer to the break pedal), the Razo Carbon Fiber Pedals are not adjustable, but are a good distance for heal and toe driving.

Let me know if you have any other questions

Thanks!
elemental 07-22-2001 04:00 AM

im not talking about closer on the x axis... im talking more along the lines of the z axis, they get closer towards you... me being kinda tall, it'd be a little weirder
GoZigen 07-22-2001 04:13 AM

The 5Zigen Pedals are very thin, the razo Carbon Fiber MT pedals are a little thicker at about 3cm thick. The pedals are actually not that large at all. They are not designed to be uncomfortable, but to enhance your driving abilities (and to look good  ) I'm sure others on the list have aftermarket pedals like these, just need to wait for a post I guess :). The 5Zigen Metalic pedals are about 1cm thick.

Let me know if you have any questions

Thanks!

Hey Gozigen..
can you get the r-rate springs...??????
I can't find these anywhere
GoZigen 07-23-2001 11:06 PM

The Razo Ball knob is 19.99 + shipping the 5Zigen knob is round but also has a small extended part with the 5ZR logo. The Razo is all round, and screws into the ball.

Let me know if you have any other questions

IN regards to R-Rate springs, we just sold our last set about 2 weeks ago to an I-Club member. Unfortunately they have been discontinued, however once in a while they pop up here and there. I'll check to see if i can obtain any from another source for you, or have you go direct to them
GoZigen 07-27-2001 04:41 PM

Please notice change!!

Unfortunately I was informed incorrectly on the shift knobs. The knobs are not real carbon fiber. Our description sheet was listed as real carbon fiber before production. I apologize for the error, I was so excited to get them that I never really paid to much attention to whether the Carbon was real or not. Unfortunately I had to find out the hard way from a very good customer.
Dolphino 07-27-2001 08:17 PM

AT knob fit?

Can the knobs be mod'd to fit an automatic?

 ~The AT was a compromise with my wife~
MagicMT 07-27-2001 08:24 PM

Manual knobs won't work with auto cuz there's no buttons on them. I guess you could do a crap load of work and install a button on there, but there's no point in doing that since there are aftermarket auto shift knobs.

Mike
kunfuzion 07-28-2001 03:08 AM

hey gozigen, how much for the razo carbon fiber pedals? w/ shipping to 90703. thanks
jeff
