Painted bugeyes to match body color?

Has anyone seen or have pictures of bugeye headlights "koji mod" painted to match the color of the wrx (silver specifically...)? Any opinion on how that would look?

There is a white one on here that looks really sick. I don't think the silver would look that great but you could give it a shot and always repaint if you don't like it.

ive seen it in blue and white. It looks ok, but its best to use high temp paint for this and i havent seen anything but black in high temp

anyone ever paint matched the bugeye projectors? I always wondered if that would look good or really nasty.

I did it with my bug eye, WRB, and I would not do it again. I would just leave it as is.

I agree with most colors but what about opinions of color matching if the body were midnight black pearl?

I don't know, mine are done WRB - I had it done when I had some paint work done on the car. Everyone I know who's commented has liked it.

i've seen it on other cars.. doesn't look that great most of the time.
imo flat black, camoflauge, non refelective looks best. it matches the rest of the stock flat black body parts. i.e. fog light surrounds, sideskirts, air dam plastic.....

As far as painting lights body color I would say dont. The only way it might be alright in any fashion would be if they were professionally painted to match and even still I think it would look a lot better as just flat black.

I agree. I did not think I would like the way it looked, but really made that white car stand out. Just one of those things that is slightly different and unique, that would really draw peoples eyes.

Ha! Wow, I really didn't think that I would like that at all, but I gotta say that the white looks pretty great! I say go for it and if you don't like it then you can always go back and fix it. Or better yet go to a junkyard and get a demo set so you don't mess up the good set on the car. :)

Same car i was thinking about it looks good on the white i saw the same doent to a wrb wrx and it wasnt my style it didnt look to good.
