I think that picture was taken on his way up into orbit because if that's the apex of his flight he didn't get much higher than Martin did last year. No, that's gotta be before his jump apexed. Wait until we finally see some of the video footage, it'll do it much more justice.

Hi all. I have never posted here before but wanted to give you guys a little perspective on what happened before that jump. As anyone who was there knows the first run of that stage was cancelled due to problems with the "0" car. We had the car prepared to run on tarmac tires and had lowered the suspension 40mm's. When he came back to service no one was sure if the stage would be run the second time and so the car was respecced for gravel due to lack of time to respec later. At the last minute we were told they were going to run it and we put the tarmac tires on but did not have time to lower the car again. So he ran the stage at gravel height on tarmac tires. I think he would have been even faster if we had time to lower the car. He did an excellent job and my congrats go out again to you Pat for a good weekend and a podium finish.

I'm thinking next year they should put some chalk lines down to mark the distances. :)

side profile of a subaru, all the same color, just a filled in outline really. underneath...just the edge of a 1/2 circle. perch the subaru above it somewhere. That will be my new logo, you will get royalties, or at least a free sticker or two.

I don't know about DMS, however that car was provided by prodrive/VT SC I believe, and it's the one that Lovell used in Sno Drift as well as Cherokee... I remember...he used a Ver. 6 and Schieble had a Ver. 5.

I looked at your jump pic and thought about the angles involved and the length of the lens you were using and decided it had to be someone right in that area. The Subaru hat gave it away.
