| IIdiceII | 01-18-2007 10:32 PM |
I think you should sand it and smooth it a lot more..it seems bumpy in the pics...And maybe paint it black again, so it matches the rest of the interior accents.

I agree on the black, it looks out of place since nothing else is gray. Other than that it looks nice, good job.

as for you other guys im getting the gray dash in a couple of weeks that why right now it looks out of place, it looks bumpy because the paint i used is textured

I think they mean 'bumpy' between the gauges and in the 'pie shaped' spaces between.
it is very pronounced on the early 'black' photo when you were test fitting it in the car.
in this shot, the piece looks like it 'melted' .
in the later pics, it looks better, so I figure you did a bunch of work in between.
in the last pic, it looks like it might still be a bit irregular, but much better.
hard to tell for sure w/ textured paint and the resolution of the picture.
good work. quite similar (in concept) to the 'evo style' gauge set-up in brcewane's car.

Really, not a bad location, I assume those were vents before? Really, it looks nice. I'd be curious to se what the end results are whe the dash is completed to match.

I think it looks pretty damn good! And I really like the fact that you did it on lunch breaks! now all you need is the custom MT... haha jk ;) great job!

Looks good.
I was scared that as I was looking through the pics I saw the one in the installed but not finished, Then I looked on and saw that you finished off.
Good job.

nice job..........I would have tried to match the color of the rest of the dash but thats just me
did you rerout the ac vents or do you just have them blowing air to the back of the gauges? dont know if it would cause any long term damage to them if hot ass air is blowing on them all the time.
