413 is his number.
There is a Parc Ferme both friday afternoon in Ellington and again saturday morning in Salem, where you can check out all the cars and talk with the crews.
I'll be working it as usual, but this year i won't loan any parts off my car to jackholes from texas ;) if someone wants to show up with an obvious cheater car, that's just too bad for them.
ps-volunteering to be a stage marshall is WAY better then just spectating. sign up on http://www.100aw.org!!!

I came across an interesting article about the 100 Acre Wood
and Trespassers Wil rallys. Being a "local" of the area, I know it is a big deal to me, but is great to see it getting national attention.
http://www.specialstage.com/
small excerpt from article
"The "world series" of performance rally is coming to the Ozark foothills of Missouri in the form of the Trespassers Wil and 100 Acre Wood ClubRallies. Sanctioned by Rally America, they will be held February 25 and 26, 2005"

Places to eat in Viburnum

I was checking the O fish all 100 Acre Wood website,
http://www.100aw.org/info_restaurants.html
and I noticed the only restaurants listed are in Salem. There are a few places ( very few) to eat in Viburnum. One is clearly visible from the High School, it is JR's Family restaurant. (aka the Dairy Mart) . Burgers and cokes.
Has good view of the highway. :disco:
The other is visible, as it is the motel called The Viburnum Inn (old name ,The Miners Inn). It has a more full -service restaurant inside.
has absolutely no view, you have to move the blinds at the back door to see daylight. Old men in seedcorn caps will be sitting at the round table, turning rumor into fact. ;)
Mention my name at either one--------------
and you will probably get thrown out
Viburnum also has a Casey's , gas ,pizza,sandwiches,
But if you are not in a big hurry, take sometime and vist "The Old Country Store " in Bixby , 5 miles B4 Viburnum, if you are starting from Salem.
for pics of most of these ,visit: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Viburnum/

I found some info on the country store in Bixby, I thought it might be helpful for the folks who have not been to that area to have an idea what is down there. This link is a pdf doc that can be printed like a pamplet, it is like a semi-guided tour of the transit stages of the rally.

I just thought of somethink, the rally is not far from an Army post, called
Ft. Leonard Wood, but if you make it to the rally, you will see why is has earned the nickname; fort LOST-IN- THE- WOODS.

AH HA, it sounds like you have found a way to combine business (trip) with pleasure ( trip). If you would like to dine "IN" you are staying in the Ft. Wood area, check this out.
http://www.ozarksmonthly.com/sept04/placestogo.htm
I can't guarantee that it will be open, but an intersting place if it is.
If that's a no-go, there are plenty of places to eat in ROlla. If you do spend time in Rolla, check out this place.
http://www.memoryvilleusa.com/index.html
is there a website that tells about the driving simulators??

I thought that title might get some attention. ;)
no , I a not preaching against it or advocating it.
Just wanted to put in a plug for the some of the businesses that might surprise the out of state visitors when you make it to the Steelville area.
I know this may make you laff out loud, but Missouri has quite a wine industry. There are several wineries within 15 miles of Steelville, here are some of the websites.

Fear not, several of the lead mines in the area have been converted to Cunning Traps and baited with hunny. This should contain the Heffalumps.
