which front lip do you have? looks sweet!
| fookiethedookie | 03-25-2003 09:11 PM |
well i think the liberal rear lip is really nice, but it might hang to low to match up with your front lip
| thuynh2 | 03-25-2003 10:13 PM |
front lip is bcautodesign
i was thinking orciari rear lip or Rays rear lip; there more curvy than angular.

How about using another front lip, and just integrating it into the rear as a valance?

Nice, thanks for posting those pics...I was thinking about getting a front lip and painting my stock skirts with no rear lip...I see that it looks pretty sweet...

Thanks for the pic's! I was thinking about the bcautodesign, but hadn't seen a side view - looks like it sticks out nicely as a spliter. How much does that go for?
How much drop do you have? I'm installing some JIC's, and should drop the front about 2.5" - I need a lip that isn't too low.
The orcari won't work, if you look closely at it, the lines are different.

not sure how much it goes for, i got it as a 'package deal with other things'. i'm running with progress springs for now, i believe thats 1.8-2" drop. But the lip does lower your car some. I hold my breath going up and down some drive-ways.
yeah, i taking a closer look at the orciari rear lip and i don't think it'll work. I'll just have my friend work up something for the rear.
no problem. ;)

I have the Orciari kit and I don't think the rear lip will match the front lip.

IIRC some people get them from Europe, dont rememer the exact country. Problem with that is, it doesnt come prepainted.
Japanparts.com also has them, and they come prepainted :) problem with them is, the cost of shipping, and they are a tad expensive (i think they only come in a set of four) i think the price is around 250 or so...
good luck
:)

My friend is coming back from the UK on the 18th of April, and is bringing back 2 sets. Takakaira has them for $250+shipping from japan. They are unpainted and are a set of 4. Make an offer with shipping. And the other set is yours....

Your car is awesome! I love the BC lip, that is the only other lip I like on the WRX besides OEM. Personally I think the OEM rear would look fine if you painted the center section of it as well, but the spats do look good. There was a car here in BC that I saw running around with those, and I was trying to figure out where the heck he got those, you don't see too many cars with them.

I have set of Aeromud Guards which are shown in those pics. I am selling them for $250 shipped. I had them on my car for a little less than 1 week, and I need the cash to pay off a ticket. There is a minor scratch on them, but no other flaws. PM me if you're interested and we can work something out!

That's a great looking setup you have - and I think that's a very "unique" lip in that I haven't seen very many of them!
(oh, and silver is the fastest color, I hear... ;) )

aero guards

hey guys, i searched aero mud guards for the last month or so, in this forum, and got no hits. Is that what they are actually called?
One said they are a cheaper alternative to a rear underspoiler kit-- but 250 seems pretty comprable to a rear underspoiler...
anyone know any vendors or sites selling them, and more pictures, especially from the rear of the car?
thanks,
dan

Guys! I have a set of SILVER Aeromud guards which I used on my car for less than a week, they are in perfect condition, except for a minor scratch that you can barely see when they are installed, and it can be easily repaired with some touch up paint! I am willing to sell them for $250 shipped!
