Sound off: What wings are good or bad?

I'd just like to get your input from a quality and function (downforce) standpoint.
I'm seriously considering a STI replica, but any wing evaluations are welcome.

22b replica would be good because it's adjustable but mine is cracking in a few places so i would not recommend buying it.

Don't bother with the Kaminari wing either. I got the pure FG one and it cracked about a mile from the body shop... :mad:
I'm going to get the Autoearth.com Version 7 wing most likely. I've heard it's a pretty good replica...

I have the MRT 22b replica wing. It needed significant preparation/repairs prior to painting, but has been fine since - including use on track days.
Almost any wing is going to provide additional downforce, the question is - do you really have any need for that downforce? Or is the wing just for looks? Unless you're racing the car - get what you think looks good.

I've never liked the C-west wing. It's too small and pinchy and looks just overall weird. My $0.02.
I like the Kaminari wing alot but have heard bad things about it. Looks good, though.
The more I look at it, the more I like my stock wing. It's tasteful and looks good. Plus, the STis use them stock so it can't be that bad.
There's always the CF S202 style wing. Ask HiFiWRX about that one... It's a cool GT looking one.

My 22B wing from MRT needed a crapload of prep work. It had a ton of scratches. I have not had any cracks after installing it, though.

the new apr GT200 spoiler is the shizzle it fits the body perfectly its carbonfiber and weighs under 2lbs it looks simmalar to the sti but better

I love my sti CF (aka s202 style) wing, unlike a lot of wings out there for our cars it looks like it belongs on the car, its not too big and not too small. Plus paired with the sti ver. 1 or 2 lip spoilers it makes the car very stable at 85mph+.

I think the kaminari is by fat the nicest one and like mentioned above, the cwest style is uhhh ...eerr my style. Kaminari products tend to be expensive though.

I've got the STi CF GT wing... love it! The quality is awesome... very lightweight and also its adjustable. Nice piece, but pricey. It took me about an hour to finally click the "Buy" button on Suby Dude's site and pay $1300. :lol: I don't regret it though... :D

the kaminari is hideous
i have the autoearth.com V7 spoiler, very sleek and breaks up the boxiness of our cars. good wing for the price, all in all for the price i expected a fair amount of prepwork.
the wing came with an LED brake light which looks very cool and did require a decent amount of prepping before and did not come with a template to show were to drill the holes (my car was wingless), so get ity installed at a very good body shop. myne was installed and painted to match so perfectly that people think the wing is factory!

Wings West Rally (Prodrive) is by far the best Subaru wing in the world. Original looks and style to spare. It could make a Honda look cool !!!!!!!!!:devil:

i like the v7 spoiler especially with nice wheels. I was going to get it but when i first got my car my parents only wanted me getting the stock spoiler since they felt the v7 was to "flashy" for right now. In a few years when i am going for looks i will probably get one or a style like it. The wrx needs a spoiler though, without it, it's just......
