Sweetest looking Grille!!!
Does anyone know what is the metal in the grill shown in this pic:

I would like to do this to my 2001 non-new age impreza. I have grill mesh in there already, but this stuff looks way better. To start this task I need to know where I can get this metal/mesh????

i have mixed feelings about it....i really couldnt see it on another color other than red after seeing that pic....i guess depending on what mood i am i would consider it either high tech or something juan would put on his el camino

JORD, I'm not sure what the question is, cuz right in the description of the grill, it says its AL (specifically 6063, T6, Aluminum).
I don;t think it looks too bad at all, actually. Maybe the gap between the 'fins' to too small, but kinda looks nice (espesially the lower section). Ofcourse on a Silver car it would look horrible.
I think it would look better on a black car, than any other color.

I sent an email to the guy since Norco is pretty close to me. What I didn't like was that they are installed over the existing grill. If they were a replacement, I might consider them.

What about putting the star cluster or "i" where it would be normally located. I think that might make it seem pretty cool and less Ford F-150'ish. Photoshop anyone?

I think those billet grills look better on trucks like others have said. But hey, it's your car if you like it, that's all that matters.

I'm not that crazy about them (but atleast their different), and would never get them on my car (also its Silver and would look HORRIBLE on that color car). But they're not the worst thing I haver ever seen on a car, and like l I have said before on other topics, if the Rally car had them, I know ALOT more of you guys would think they looked nice enough to get them on your car. So I don;t think someone should knock it that much just cuz its different.

Then i shifted the picture and saw the dualie part and i started laughing uncontrollably, haha. I think that it looks good, I agree that it is a little truckish but then I used to drive a CK1500 so maybe I am just partial. Also it looks like the grill that I want to get for the wifes PT. Not sure about it fiting over the stock grill, and how the AL would hold up in the winter when the laydown the salt solution, I could probably hear it pitting from inside the car.
