the WRX lip looks fantastic. Forget the P1 lip, this is the stuff. Good choice, you made up my mind. Can't tell from the photos, but is the lip painted in Silverthorne Metallic or in the new WRX silver? If it is the WRX silver, how is the paint match?

I've seen these light in action, they are really really bright. they can be seen from about a 1/2 mile away and still look like a train. I like the job you did with the lip Andres, looks sweet. Are you in San Antonio yet? my exgirlfriend said she saw you leaving her apartments off of Bandera

I'll try to answer all the questions.
All this started because in August we are going to have a race at night(Autocross), so I thoght it will be cool to have good lightning.
I researced for set ups but they were costy. So I decided to design my own . After five days of thinking and planning I came up with a "good" idea , so I developed, and after six days I had it ready.
The lights on the bar are Hella 500 (driving lights), and on the bottom if you noticed I replaced the stock fog ligths with some Hella 500 also.
The front lip is the one for the WRX, I saw a picture that somebody posted showin that it will fit the RS's....he didn't specified how to do it so after four hours I figured out how to fit the left side, the right side was easier. Also the bottom part.The part is sold by Subaru dealers at $355 . Got it from Sugar.
The color I got it from Pepboys, made by Plasti-kote, code number 5604, you won't find something closer beside a body shop. Of course I had to use the adhesion enhancer ,the bumper flexible primer,and the clear coat, all the same brand. I used it for my previous lip, and the rear spats, it doesn't look that bad.

Some lip answers
The lip comes in three pieces. The left and right parts and the center diffuser. Sugar sells it in Aspen White...Platinum Silver...WR Blue Pearl ONLY. For $355. So yes, you can just mount the left and right parts though I am not sure if you can buy the parts individually. Imprezer is using just the center diffuser. Lisa has a post for the WRX Ground Effects Package in the Vendors forum. Check it out.

Accurit – I also like the look of the lip without the center diffuser, or perhaps if the diffuser remained black you'd have a nice combination of the two front wings and then a more subtle center piece.

i had the greddy lip but decided i didn t want it no more....so a friend took it off my hands...buthmmm i m so indecsive...argh...so many choices what should i do?

All depends if you really like it. Is not easy but also not impossible.
I bought it because somebody posted pictures that showed that the lip fitted easy, bs! .
You do have to do som cutting and shaving on the side parts and the center part as well. I cannot email you because I think aI have a problem with my computer, but you can call me this morning.

STI covers
Anyone know if the STI covers will fit over the Hella 500's?
Accurit– yeah I'm almost "finished" with my Silverthorne RS. Suspension, tires, wheels, basic NA mods, etc. all done. So unless I go forced induction or cams then the lip will finish me off. For now. ;) Your body kit plans sound good. I'm in the air about painting my skirts due to chipping from rocks and such. Plus the contrast is nice.

Where to locate Hella's?
Andres– do you mean how deep you mount/locate the hella's into the stock fog light hole? As in, if I mount it deep enough, the STI cover should fit? I'm not sure how deep the 500's are.

For now you can imagine that my Silverthorne has Legacy GT wheels with RE730 rubber on Whiteline Select/V5 suspension, also has a Strömung SS dual tip cat back as well as clear STI fog covers. Clear corners and WRX rear tail lamps round out the package. Basically subtle changes from stock.

Yes..
you have to mount them as far as you can (deep) without modifying the existing housing position, highly recommend to make a stronger reinforcement on the bottom

Accurit– got me there! these are not real STI parts but knockoffs that are clear. Tabolau had a group buy some months on these. They look exaclty like the STI units but are clear so you can use your fogs without taking off the covers. And they act as decent rock protection. They came in clear, yellow, smoked, I think. No STI stickers with that though. I like them because they look like the STI's but are more practical because you don't have to get out of your car to remove the covers when you want to use your fogs.

That is one mean looking Impreza! I like the lights. As someone else said, it kinda reminds me of the rally Mini Cooper.
I hope you're gonna do some night racing though. It'd be a shame to waste all that lighting.

Fido .. I'm telling you man I had so many pm's about the lights that my friends in Houston suggested to start making them and selling them. You can put any kind of lights. It is very stiff. I already tested in Austin during a cross country ride a few weeks ago. Works great.
So if somebody is interested just PM me and I'll get some numbers straight. Maybe I could make them for WRX as well, even painted.

uhhhh...
looks sweet except for one thing...what's with the lights? what you can't see or something? i'd remove the four spotlights on your hood. other than that, your car is pretty sweeet.
