donjuan 06-19-2001 07:54 AM

:D @ Arioch & Autobri...Ich hoffe nicht. Die Krankheit verbreitet.

Anyway...Ralf repeats, mark my words. I hope JPM will finally get his head out of his ass, shut up and put up for once. 16 for Williams?? could be....
donjuan 06-19-2001 01:14 PM

HEH...it would be kinda funny to see Schumi give JPM a beat down with the steering wheel though.
donjuan 06-19-2001 02:05 PM

You know, F1 drivers really have it rough, don't they?? Chili dogs, photo shoots....
KITTbri 06-19-2001 02:29 PM

Stop posting pics of my girlfriends!!! It's bad enough they all know about each other and we have wild.........oh that's right, you said keep it clean :D

It's about time we got some hottie pics on our F1 threads! Half the pics F1-Live used to have were gorgeous women. They've toned that down these days I noticed.

Now back to the serious racing stuff, Williams will have a BIG day! They will finish 1-2. Chili dogs not withstanding. So what does ralf eat? Don't say the third blonde on the left!

Fred
KITTbri 06-20-2001 09:09 AM

new fuel???

Here's a thouhgt… maybe mikey was trying out Ferrari's new fuel and delivery system… you know F1 trying to go green… I mean afterall, methane is highly volatile :D

-brian-
fast si 06-20-2001 09:46 AM

denial

You guys are all in denial. You know the results will be as follows:

1. Michael Schumacher
2. who cares
3. doesn't matter
4. couldn't hang
5. too slow
6. fired at the end of the year

Admit it.

You know I am right.
Adrian128 06-20-2001 09:56 AM

Rain

My guess is that it will rain.. and I mean pour down.. and the following will happen:

JPM will crash in the warm up lap
DC will slip slide away and out in the first 15 laps.
MS will reign in the wet and be the first one to get slicks when there is a semblance of a dry line. Ralf will do the same thing.
Mika will be on the podium.
So.. it will be MS, Ralf, Mika, Trulli, JV, Irvine.. in that order. :) :)
donjuan 06-20-2001 10:13 AM

Someone's missing

Where the heck is J Colman??

Fred--I don't know what Ralf eats, but he drinks good beer :)
Arioch 06-20-2001 11:13 AM

donjuan 06-22-2001 02:30 PM

Ball and Chain

I think he got hitched or is getting hitched and going on his honeymoon. Either that or he's just wussing out because he picked the wrong Schumacher in Canada!!! :D :D
63Alpine 06-23-2001 09:11 AM

nitrousjunkie68 06-23-2001 01:39 PM

my predictions are.....

1. Ralf
2. Chili Dog
3. Schumi
4. DC
5. Barrichello
6. Villeneuve

I think Williams will go 1-2. Although Schumacher got pole, I am just guessing that Williams goes 1-2.
Fred Zaplitny 06-23-2001 04:05 PM

Of course Williams will go 1-2. Why? Because I predicted it first!! :D

Go Chili Dog!
Go Ralfie boy!

Too bad I can't watch until Monday.
Fred Zaplitny 06-23-2001 11:44 PM

DC's prediction is here:

DC's comments at F1 Live

He doesn't think he can beat Schumi but hopes Ralf can take some of Micheals points. I think that man needs a chili dog. Do Scots eat chili dogs? :D
Zahnster 06-24-2001 02:18 AM

BAR is never going to get their head out of their arse. "New House" will finish far behind the top Jordan and/or Sauber.
johnfelstead 06-24-2001 10:13 AM

The party is over! Ralphy is pissed!

Button is a talent trying to get used to driving a piece of $hit for a living, fissi is used to driving $hit. Damn, you guys have a short memory..............

Did you guys get to see the meeting between Ralphy and Michael in the weighbridge after the race? Ralphy was giving Michael a right earfull and glare, he looked seriously unhappy and i think i know why.

Take another look at that race start, Michael tried to put Ralph in the pit wall, squeezing is OK but he took so much space away if ralph didnt back off when he did there would have been a HUGE crash. One day these tactics are going to end in a big mess.

What a shame the oficials are such ********, Ralph crossed the white line on the exit of the pits and therefore broke the rules which are there for safety. However there was no car behind him and he didnt gain from it so why ruin a race for such a minor indescresion? It wasnt like speeding in the pits where a danger is aparant. Stupid decision.

Chili dog was cruising near the end, it was obvious he couldn't be arsed taking a risk and pushing after all the crap he has been given recently over trying too hard. What a shame...............
meebs 06-24-2001 12:42 PM

burn...

The FIA can burn in hell as far as I'm concerned... What an absolutly assinine way to effectively end the race when it was half run. Ok, so Ralph put his car about a foot over more than his brother did... and yes, mike crossed the line right in front of him.

Oh and why did the officals forget about the BEGINNING of that pit stop, when mike felt it was ok to slice completely across the white paint right infront of Ralph. Is there a difference between doing that at the entrance versus the exit?? I don't see one. And then not to mention, like you said John, the cute little moves that mike can get away with at the start... which if anyone else did would have been deemed "reckless".

FIA, piss off.
SpinAll4 06-24-2001 08:29 PM

Ralf got reemed!

Rules are rules but, that was just horrid. Ralf got dogged,(not chili-dogged tho).
At least it was a good and exciting race. It seemed to go by really quick. Those German engines that are made in GERMANY are freaking bomber. I hope to see some more Williams on the podium this season.

ALERT::: Next race is in one week not the usual two!

Go Ralf.
Go Juan Pablo Mo'Gravy.
Fred Zaplitny 06-24-2001 10:52 PM

Chili dogs must be good with champagne!!

Chili Dog took second.....JUST AS I PREDICTED!!!!!

Didn't see the race yet, just glanced at F1-Live. I can't wait to watch though, even though that damn German guy won again.

Disclaimer: When I say "Damn German guy", I mean no harsh feelings for Germans in general. I myself am half German in ethnicity. I just despise Micheal even though some day I'll say "Yeah, I saw the greatest driver in F1 race at Indy" That is if he can keep up his pace. He is very close to Prost's win record, and if he stays as good as he is he'll surpass everybody who ever raced F1 in championships....etc. I just wish F1 was a bit more competative sometimes.
donjuan 06-25-2001 08:01 AM

Holy cow

Whoa, where did all the Williams fans come from all the sudden?? :) Cool!

I too was disappointed by "the move" in the first turn. But I guess it's racing. It was good to see JPM finally do what he's paid to do instead of being an arse. But it WAS obvious he was happy to hold on to second rather than push for the win toward the end. That choice may have been made outside of the car though, and given his past tendency to push TOO hard, I can't say that I wouldn't have made the same decision. I was hoping for a Williams 1-2 (though it more likely would have been 2-3), but the penalty pushed Ralf back. It was a minor infraction, maybe Ralf just has tasted blood now and was a bit anxious, I would be. Still, Ralf has still scored in every race in which he's not had mech. trouble; JPM stayed away from the walls, drove well and scored, 9 points overall. McLaren only put up 5, so [Jon Lovitz] This would be more then! [/Jon]
