bratmantlz 01-02-2001 11:00 AM

well my RS is black i originally wanted rally blue but...... the yellow is fresh you dont see many yellow RS's anywere. [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif[/img]
Lifino 01-02-2001 11:04 AM

Go with the yellow. You'll get sick of the blue real fast, just too much of a color that isn't all that great to begin with...

The yellow is a great color there, good luch matching it.

I already got the paint code for both of them the yellow is from the STi v6 Type RA and the blue is from the Eckerds Semi Trucks and what would be the big deal about the yellow not being the same as the STi, whats the chance i will have my car parked next to one of those? but i do think i will go with the yellow. but please tell me some other colors.

STiShawn 01-02-2001 11:23 AM

Agreed, Steel Blue Mica! Although Mine will be black cherry mettalic.
BongMan 01-02-2001 11:56 AM

Yea go with yellow. The blue looks like the rallye blue used on the 98 and 99 rs. Yellow will require more care I imagine.

Go with a dark silver, like anthricite, that would be nice, better than the lighter existing color.

I will always like yellow though!

Now about a deep orange like on the ISUZU AMIGO?? That is a very nice shade.

Thanks for the photochopped pic though, now I know what MY99 RBP RS will look like with MY00-01 rims, anyone what to take the pic further and make the rims anthricite??

Thanks

when doing a complete color change wouldnt you have to leave the factory color under the hood?? wouldnt that be ugly for show? unless you removed the motor for paint.. how does one go about this???
and whats the usual cost of painting a whole car? ~~PeAcE~~ John

Go with whatever makes you happy.

If you get evil stares from other people, forget about them or just limo tint your windows. [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif[/img]

suby ej25 01-03-2001 06:28 AM

get the yellow
mpaone 01-03-2001 06:30 AM

Yea, I've always liked that yellow...
Yotsuya 01-04-2001 11:23 AM

One thing to consider with yellow; birds like it. A lot. I'm contracted out to Caterpillar and their paint shop goes through a lot of trouble because their trademark yellow equipment attracts birds.
Rick Buckner 01-04-2001 11:25 AM

Don't forget Bees and other bugs like yellow too.

The whole car except the firewall is painted, and if it is not... You got jipped. They should do everything. Underneath the hood looks just as great as the whole outside of the car. Not to mention inside the trunk, door jambs, etc, etc. I have noticed on the quality paint jobs, even underneath the weather stripping around the windows gets done. I promise, if you didn't know my car was repainted, you would think it was stock.
SpeedRacerRS 01-06-2001 12:49 AM

Get the darkest black you can, that'd be hot.
