Why not paint the whole thing? too worried about backing up?

I think you should get rid of the SUBARU and the IMPREZA badges.

1st and your wagon rocks!
| 2phless | 10-03-2005 10:33 AM |
1st (un-chopped) tailights, and debadged. Looks meaner. The reverse as circles kinda looks cartoonish.
I dig it. The blacker the better. Window tint. Even just 35% would look great.

I like the look of the first one more. The 2nd one does look a little cartoony or something. That wagon looks awesome (even better with some tint, as suggested).
I understand why you'd do this (it looks great) but personally I like people behind me being able to see VERY CLEARLY that I'm hitting my brakes. Is it possible to install brighter brakelight bulbs without over-drawing the circuit?

Tint your windows and then black out the entire tailight. I just don't know if it's against the law.
| Bman | 10-03-2005 10:29 PM |
Black the entire taillight. Also debadge!
| synernut | 10-03-2005 10:34 PM |
Go with the first one and 5% window tint.
| LENNY_LESTER | 10-03-2005 11:44 PM |

| imprezive one | 10-03-2005 11:54 PM |
The 2nd one looks weird... and that's why I like it. Much cleaner than the first one too. I dunno, I'm weird.

I like the second one best cause it looks more 'intentional' to my eyes.. though i really prefer the taillights stock.
Also, do get the tint. i got mine a few weeks ago and i love it. not only does it make the car look badass but it also cuts down on heat in the car when you return after parking in the sun.. and at night it cuts down on the blinding lights of giant SUV's in your mirrors
