Where can i find altezza tails for my 01 Impreza RS
I have looked through several magazines and websites looking for a set of altezza tails for my impreza. Does anyone make them are they available anywhere? I would love to put a set on my car.

No, they don't. Supposedly you can get them custom made, I'm still investigating that one. Will anyone interested in these please post or PM me? When/if I find out about them I'll let everyone know who is interested.

hey hillclimber............kinda sucks right? i mean, you come to a site looking for help,and get hypocritcal negative remarks from the same people who have non functional hood scoops and big ass wings on cars that don't need them. Oh well. That's the way it is I guess. I was thinking, I wonder, why the same people don't make comments to those who try to make their car look like the rally car. I mean.....hey, a scoop looks good, on a rally car where it's needed......but hey......we don't own rally cars, now do we? We own tuned down Americanized cars with moderate horsepower.

i hear you guys sometimes............on certain issues...........so it's an all opinion thing.......i hear that......but i mean.......u know just as much as i do Nick.....there is this floating concept within the genre of the San francisco treat that lingers everywhere. One day we all really gotta except the "different strokes for different folks" idealogy. If we, as a group, continue to shun anyone, when an opinion only makes us each individuals, and if we continue to degrade those who don't follow a trend, we only make fellow subie lovers gun shy to post whatever he/she feels they want. That might turn off people. If we spend the last few years turning off people, i doubt we would have gotten the 02 turbo we asked for in the first place. Cheers.

nah hillclimber, i think you are taking the wrong approach. If you like the lights then you should ask about them and try to get a set for YOUR impreza.
keirik - i dont think we are so much different. Whenever people post stuff about WRX/STi stickers, and Touring wings my stance is - its your thing, do you. But i do take a more liberal approach to such stuff, I like just about anything once it fits.

In response, all that person sometimes gets, are just negative comments. We can't all have carbon copies of each other's car. Now that same person who was asking about Altezza lights is being turned off from his own preference because of this. Oh well. Maybe I should start posting up pictures of clothes, colors, etc etc,of what i want to get beforehand, so i can see if it's worthy enough to the subie fashion police. Living in a democracy rocks. I feel for you Hillclimber, don't worry about all the nay sayers. Sometimes just mentioning the 'r' word causes a feeding frenzy that would shock Piranas. Seems the food chain extends to the car enthusiasts too, Bimmer fans feed near the top. Subie fans complain about BMW drivers 'elitist views' then ransack the Honda drivers [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] . But thankfully not everyone in every scene does this. Do what you like man, don't get something because everyone else is getting it. Get it because you like how it looks. Happy hunting on the lights though and hope you get something to your liking.

altezza lights belong on the car it originated from....
but anyways...the best thing about our car is that...not alot of people makes parts fo it...so we...ourselves can make up our own ideas and try new things....look at our mods..lot of do it urselves...most other cars they go out and BUY it and just stick it on...i feel proud of my car cuz i WORK on it...tinker wit this and that...most of our mods are done at home depot hehehe ya get my drift..i m sayin tho... its a challenge...tho most of us here has a 2.5RS each one is a bit different..Be Creative..

for my aspen rs....i have used transparent paint that was MEANT fo glass art fo my turn signals....Home Depot for my grill in my hood scoop and bumper...a Knight rider light Inside my Hoodscoop u can kinda see it below Autobot Plate- Made by the dealership plate's backside and da sticker made...i did alot fo lil stuff to it....its fun..Attention to Detail...=)

and how many heads turn when u drivin past people?

Yeah altezza lights are really cheesy, and I think APC is just a cheezy company. It's like buying Albertson's deorerant or something. They are going all crazy wtih the altezzas and every other cars have them now. I have to admit the 1st ones for the civics actaully looked cool, and the one for the prelude (s2000 style or whatever) but overlal they are tacky and they're played out. Well, that's only my opinion.
