IMO it looks nasty, much worse than the factory lights. Bugeyes needed the upgrade, '06's do not :devil:.

I'm having a really hard time picturing what they'd look like painted, which is what most bugeye people who had/have them did. They may not look terrible after some paint.
That being said, I have never liked any of Morette's stuff, not even the bugeye headlights, and especially not the tails.

ha, if they used some good projectors, then you CAN have improvement over the stock headlights. I might rock them, but dont think i am going to spend that kind of coin on them. get them for free, sure :D :D

I agree - unless the light pattern from the 06 is lacking, and these offer a substantial improvement, I don't see the point (unless you just want your car to look different)

Something about the black housing that just doesn't look right on the 06, maybe some paint will help but... I think Subaru got it right the first time.

I think they would only look good color matched to a black car. If it was me I would leave them alone or paint them black on white and silver cars.

Euros love them and they make these things for tone of other cars. I can't imagin their Subaru sales are very high though. I still like mine but I am striving to be different and these were the best option for me.

these are a great way to use hella 90mm modules, but i don't think they'll sell very many stateside. 06 lights aren't as good as 90mm modules, but they're damn close.
morettes/uk300/prodrive/orcari... all use hella 90mm modules.
90mm modules are a very significant upgrade over 9007 bugeye lights. somewhat less significant on 04's H1 lights. the 06 H7 lights... well, 90mm modules are probably a little better but not worth the cost of a new set of headlights.
sperry and rootus-
hella 90mm modules are sealed with a very durable and optically near-perfect lens covering anyway. there doesn't need to be a big custom formed lens cover over the whole light because the 90mm modules are already protected.

i have emailed a couple of vendors and asked if they were goin to be selling them state side.
most responded on saying that they were too expensive and will not carry them to no response emails.

I will have my 06 STI at the morette booth at SEMA, I will have the headlights color matched to my car (Steel gray) will show you guys pictures when they get installed. Come check out the booth. It will be right next to SOA main booth.

I think the headlights look alright, especially when they are painted to match the car.
