the RS must have a spoiler otherwise it looks like crap, except adamsrs's car. thats just my opinion. i ran spoilerless for a week and from the front it looks fine, but the back...bleh. :D

I agree with spiralsmurf. The wing adds to the looks of the car and makes it look good, without it then it just looks odd.

Haha, I found my old netscape account, I love those guys, I've had that account for like 5 years now... BTW, when these pics were taken, the car was lowered ~2" on Tein S-tech (soft) springs & KYB adjustable struts, so with stock suspension it would be even more sleeper, but less aggressive-looking too. I've seen base model Imprezas on the freeway, with the different bumpers & wings the car looks very tame, lots like a corolla or tercel or something. If I had 300hp, I might make my car look a little like that, it'd be fun.

you should see the muffler tip on my car, Apex'i N1 baby :lol: I like it, but at the same time I don't like it... the car looks very civilized without a spoiler. Dunno... I think I'm gonna have my bodyshop put the Prodrive replica on anyways, I can always take it off for a few days and see how i like it. :) Thanks for the pics scotty.

just nuts and bolts :) I actually found a picture of a V5 w/o a wing... photchopped it Sedona red :) not bad, but i still dunno.

wingless is ugly man.. put on the coupe wing or at least the stock sedan wing. ;)

and since you have the RB5 wing, definitely put that sucka on!

I agree. I think the car really looks naked without a wing of some type on. Looks unbalanced.

that wing is awesome. i think the ver 5 wing is too tall and i don't like how it has a flat part that sits on top of the trunk. which wing is that? i really like how it mounts directly to the trunk.

My spoiler is the RB5 replica from Revolutions Motorsports. The Ver 5 is indeed taller than this version.

not by that much... people act like the V5 is soo much taller and that the rb5 is a hair taller than stock...

that is wrong...

the 22b is the shortest iirc...

then the prodrive and rb5, then v5 and v6...

The thing with the Ver 5 is that it has a different shape to it giving it the illusion that it is indeed taller even though it isn't by much. Ver 5 never fit my taste. I would have gotten the authentic Prodrive RB5 but there weren't any in the country at the time.
