This is making me sick. I hate to be an old man, but I'm in Carlos Sainz's book.
The competition is great in todays WRC, but rallying has lost much of what it used to be.
SupeRally is good for fans, but it bleeds off the sole idea of rally:
You must finish to have a chance to win. Reliablity.

What is the point of re-entering the rally a day late? Missing even one stage should put anyone out of the points. I guess if it is only the last stage of a day you are missing, the top drivers [i]could[/i] make it up if it is a short stage - comparable to Solberg's five minute penalty in Mexico. But that is a remote possibillity at best.
If they reduce/remove any mid-day service besides tires/fuel, I could see this kinda as an alternative.

Looks like they might see some rain in Lamia Saturday and Sunday according to the forecast for the area. It rained hard here in Larissa for about an hour and a half this afternoon, don't know if it made it down to Lamia. It will spoil my rally trip, not going if it is raining, minivan doesn't like mud. It will also help Petter, he likes the sloppy stuff. If I go it will be Sunday, I hope to see Petter on the podium.

I have decided not to go to the rally. The weather is just too crappy. We have had showers and T-Storms all afternoon and more in the forecast for Sunday. I don't want to sit on top of a mountain in the rain and walk through mud to get there.:( :(

man you have no idea what you've missed. the rain in lamia was minimal, very light. the most rain was seen at lilea where they did the super special stage event and even that was light showers for only about 10 minutes. the rally was great, especially the last day, nothing but sun and no clouds.
