Not a huge fan of dark wheels in general. IMO...makes them look more like snow tire/steelie combos.

the black looks like steelies -- if it was a black or white car then yes but not that color blue

Black wheel *DO look especially good if you have some color to your brakes though.....makes the color (red, gold, etc) pop out more

Black rims don't look bad on anything first of all. But they will tend to sink into a car with this dark a shade of blue. I'd go with a contrasting tone, but subdued. Bronze, I think, would be awesome, or a silvery grey like gunmetal or anthracite - not too shiny, because you don't want your car to look all wheels.

i think it looks nice. but i agree it makes them look like steelies without the hubcap. but thats what a sleeper is meant for, so if thats what you're looking for, do it. But if you want something to show off the wheels, gold is best with that color.

I don't like dark wheels on a dark color car. Gold or silver look the best. Now if the car was silver the black wheel would look good.

Being the driver of a MBP WRX I have never been a fan of black wheels on dark vehicles. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though.
